Cykel
Hej,
Today met up with Xu Xian in the morning to rent a bike and we headed down to Moesgard. Moesgard is on the eastern edge of Aarhus and boasts a pleasant forrest beside the beach. The water there is extremely clear, think Tioman or Redang without the fish.
Subsequently went to school to fill in some stuff, and should be heading out to meet another smu guy later, jin jie. Wonder whether I should ride or take a bus? The terrain here is undulating to say the least, well at least for my Singaporean legs, haha. I'll just post a video for now. Check later for more photos. Cya. =)

Hej!
Hi!
Aarhus is great for so many reasons, and not least for it's helpful and friendly inhabitants. So far so good. I'm still kinda adjusting, mainly to the fact that everything is in Danish, but starting to learn a few words here and there. Groceries and clothes here are slightly more expensive than sg, but the ultimate is transportation. For example, a bus ride to the city costs 18 Kroner, which is approximately 5 Sing, no wonder everyone rides bikes around here.
Notice in the picture that there are three different types of paths for three different modes of transport. The dark black tar one is for bikes. This occurs throughout Aarhus.
Anyway, my first cooked meal in Denmark,
cya.

Denmark
The land of Blue Cheese, the first national flag, Peter Schmeichel, and Michael Learns to Rock.
Aarhus while strolling
Note the white bird at the bottom of the above picture? It's a seagull. Aarhus is situated on the Eastern side of Jutland very near the Baltic sea and so instead of mynahs and sparrows a la Singapura, you see alot of gulls (and pidgeons). Oh, and the Danish version of the cockroach is the ladybird, imagine that. Saw a few of them flying about on the streets. There are cockroaches la, saw a shell in my dorm, haha, but rare... I hope.
Can't see the scale here, but that's a normal paper plate, i.e. those kind we use for BBQ's in sg. Cost about 45 DKK, around 13 sing.
